Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) is an optical inert material with high purity, strong environmental adaptability and easy processing. It has small optical transmission loss and good light transmission performance. It is an ideal material for high power CO2 laser optical elements. Because of its good refractive index uniformity and consistency, the infrared material is also an ideal material for protecting windows and optical elements in the current infrared (FLIR) thermal imaging system. At the same time, the material is also widely used in the window and lens of medical and industrial thermal radiometer and infrared spectrometer.
