Calcium fluoride (CaF2) has good mechanical strength and high transmittance in the range of 0.13 ~ 11.3um, up to 95%. Therefore, it is a good window material and is widely used in infrared windows, prisms and lenses. The service temperature is below 600 ℃ in the atmosphere, and can reach 800 ℃ in vacuum drying.
